Tri-Valley Carpet Care

Premium Service Agreement & Customer Authorization

Thank you for choosing Tri-Valley Carpet Care. We are committed to delivering exceptional service while treating your home and furnishings with the highest level of care. To ensure a clear understanding of our services, please review the following terms.

Customer Acknowledgment

By confirming your appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the following:

During & After Service

  • Carpeting may remain damp for a period of time following cleaning.
  • Please use caution when walking on recently serviced surfaces, especially when transitioning from damp flooring to hard surface areas, as they may be slippery.
  • Whenever possible, avoid walking on freshly cleaned carpet until it has completely dried. If access is necessary, we recommend wearing protective shoe covers or bare feet.

Pre-Existing Conditions

Our technicians perform a visual inspection before beginning work; however, certain conditions may not be visible until cleaning or restoration is underway. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • Permanent stains, discoloration, fading, bleaching, dye loss, or color changes.
  • Damage caused by bleach, benzoyl peroxide, fertilizers, household chemicals, or other oxidizing agents.
  • Pet urine contamination, recurring odors, staining, or subsurface contamination that may wick back to the surface after cleaning.
  • Wear patterns, traffic lane discoloration, fiber distortion, burns, tears, loose seams, ripples, delamination, or previous repair work.
  • Damage resulting from improper installation, aging, manufacturing defects, or prior cleaning methods.

These conditions are considered pre-existing and are outside the control of Tri-Valley Carpet Care.

Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

While our cleaning methods are designed to achieve the best possible results, we cannot guarantee complete removal of every stain, odor, discoloration, or spot. Some stains and odors may be permanent due to age, chemical damage, previous cleaning attempts, or material characteristics.

Hardwood Floor Cleaning

Our hardwood floor cleaning process is intended to safely remove surface soil and residue. It does not repair or restore scratches, dents, gouges, finish wear, fading, water damage, warped boards, cupping, crowning, gaps, or structural movement. Floors with loose boards, damaged finishes, wax buildup, or existing deterioration may continue to show these conditions after cleaning.

Natural Stone, Marble & Travertine Restoration

Natural stone is a unique product, and results will vary depending on the stone type, age, condition, and previous maintenance.

Our restoration services may include cleaning, honing, polishing, sealing, and minor restoration. However, we cannot guarantee the complete removal or repair of:

  • Deep scratches or etching
  • Cracks, chips, pits, or structural damage
  • Permanent staining
  • Veining or natural color variations
  • Existing repairs or fillers
  • Damage caused by acidic products, improper maintenance, or previous restoration work

Some imperfections are inherent to natural stone and may remain visible after restoration.

Tile & Grout Cleaning

Professional cleaning significantly improves the appearance of tile and grout but cannot reverse permanent staining, discoloration, damaged grout, cracked tile, missing grout, or previous repairs. Severely worn grout may require color sealing or replacement rather than cleaning alone.

Pet Odor & Contamination

Pet urine and contamination may penetrate carpet fibers, padding, subflooring, grout, hardwood, or natural stone. While our treatments substantially reduce odors and contamination, complete odor elimination cannot be guaranteed if contamination has penetrated beneath the visible surface or into structural materials.

Furniture

Customers are responsible for removing fragile, valuable, electronic, or sentimental items before service begins.

Our technicians will move light furniture when practical. Oversized, fragile, antique, electronic, or specialty furniture may remain in place. Tri-Valley Carpet Care is not responsible for damage resulting from furniture with weakened joints, hidden defects, unstable construction, or previous repairs.

Customer Satisfaction

We stand behind the quality of our workmanship. If you have any concerns regarding the services performed, please notify us within 5 calendar days of your appointment.

We will gladly inspect any workmanship-related concerns. Requests made after this period may be subject to an additional service charge.

Limitation of Liability

Tri-Valley Carpet Care exercises the highest level of professional care using industry-approved equipment, products, and procedures. However, we cannot accept responsibility for:

  • Pre-existing damage or wear
  • Hidden defects
  • Permanent staining or discoloration
  • Installation or manufacturing defects
  • Conditions revealed during the cleaning or restoration process
  • Normal variations in natural materials
  • Slips or falls resulting from damp surfaces after service
