Jill Christofferson grew up in Orinda where she made the decision to become a veterinarian while in grammar school. She attended UC Berkeley where she obtained a BA in Biology. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993.
